The Safety and Anti-Violence Education Project is our community outreach. S.A.V.E. combats violent behavior through education. At this event we provided speakers from various organizations to address the impact of violence and how we can begin positive ways to handle difficult situations. Along with the educational piece we also provide fun, food, and entertainment for the whole family. The Empowerment Team has hosted three (3) projects: S.A.V.E. Project 2011; S.A.V.E. Project 2012; and Families in Crisis 2016.

Dr. Jefferey Kee of B.R.E.A.D., Andrea Carson of N.A.B.C.J., and Attorney Beverly Conner. Panelists were afforded the opportunity to bring awareness to social determents of health that plague our community.
The Empowerment Team has participated in the Linden community KCB project to clean up the Linden community from July to September every year.
A Morning with Women of Excellence 2013 – Our fundraiser guest panel consisted of Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Senator Charleta Tavares, Councilwoman Priscilla Tyson, and Judge Terri Jamison.
I can honestly say before this program I hadn’t saved a penny or even had a savings. I thank God for them and the opportunity that was presented to me, my mom, and friends. This is one of the most awesome programs you could be a part of.
